Alright, so here goes!

Who can forget the stupid little girl and the alien just slowly pointing their finger at each other and touching. I guess its kind of a touching scene but still its one of the completely pointless lines that somehow made it big time.

I love repeating this line. Its so chirpy! Makes you feel so YAY! today is a good day kinda thing. haha, maybe its just me.

8)Who you gonna call? - GHOSTBUSTERS
Great movie and great cartoon! Anyone that has watched that movie will never forget that line ever and the theme song.

7)Bond, James Bond - 007
Every guy wishes that he can be as cool and suave and have all these fantastic toys! I mean look at the number of cool toys that he gets! I want some too!

6)Show me the money! - JERRY MAGUIRE
Every gambling person would have repeated this countless of times. Does it really work people? Does it?

5)I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse - THE GODFATHER
This to me is one of the best one liners ever. I mean, how can anyone make someone an offer he can't refuse. Only the godfather can. Best book, best movie ever.

4)Go ahead, make my day - SUDDEN IMPACT
I actually didnt realize that this line was from sudden impact, but it is used so often in everyday life by so many people. Its great for threatening people =)

3)Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are gonna get - FORREST GUMP
Now this is a fantastic Tom Hanks movie. How ampt is this phrase. I would have never thought of it like that till I saw the movie. It was good writing and acting that made this line stand out.

2)May the force be with you - STAR WARS
I really hate star wars, think its a over hyped movie, but i cannot deny the fact that this line is used so often that its just annoying. Like used in real life context, what the hell is that suppose to mean?

1)I'll be back- TERMINATOR
This is the one line that has never and will never die. No one can resist saying this line in the terminator voice at least once or twice in their life, especially if you are a guy.

IT LIVES!! Top 10 Cartoon series turned Movies

Ok, I'm just really really bored hence decided to write on this thing again. This actually says how boring perth really is. However, I highly doubt many people will actually see this since most people have come to realize that I stopped ages ago. But from now on, this blog shall be revived and be dedicated to top 10s. In honour of this blog's revival, today's topic is Top 10 Cartoon series turned Movies:

10) The Addams Family
This was actually pretty good. The stuck pretty closely to the tv series and actually managed to extend what was suppose to be short snippets into a nice pretty funny movie length feature.

9) Scooby-Doo
As much as this was pretty popular, I really didn't take to the film. It was better off remaining as a cartoon. Somehow just didn't sit well with me.

8) George of the Jungle
I have never watched the original series but as a movie, this is a pretty air-headed one. Great to watch when you feel like staring at something totally brainless. Like really really brainless, but it gets on this list because it generated over $100 million in theatres.

7)Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I practically grew up watching the cartoon. I can still sing the original song by heart. The first movie wasn't too bad then they started trying to do too much with the next one. It kind of lost the plot with the latest one.

6) The Flintstones
Who can forget the Flintstones! YABADABADOO!! This was one of the old times cartoons which really hit it big when it came into the movie world. Loved the fact that they kept all the yelling in the movie as well.

5) Batman
As movies go, it isn't that fantastic. BUT I cannot leave Batman out. Jack Nicholson was great as the joker. His smile was perfect! And you gotta love that Batman is the only superhero who doesn't have super powers. So hats off to Batman..

4) Fantastic Four
Oh man, how hot was Jessica Alba! It wasn't a bad film but I seriously believe that it generated that much cash simply because people wanted to see Jessica Alba in a skin tight suit. HOT

3) Casper
Now was this movie touching or was it touching. Seriously, one of the better cartoons turned movie. The theme song will be stuck in the back of my mind forever. Admit it, when you were younger, didn't you just want to sob when he turned back from human to ghost.

2) Spider-man
The first movie was great. Loads of action and everything else that spider-man was suppose to be about. The second one was pretty alright too. The third one was just horrible, not enough action with venom and too emotional. The only thought I had after watching that was 'oh, the only good looking person in the movie got disfigured and died'.

1) X-Men
How much do you love this. They casted the roles really well for the movies, especially Professor X. Always action packed, so great to watch. Waiting for Gambit to come out though.

Things to grumble about:

1) I lost one side of my fav musical notes earrings! I found the clasp but the front is no where to be found! and they have stopped producing it...I really loved it..it was unique, it was matched yet mismatched...sad

2) They sent out an email telling us that our results are out for our websites and we can view it but its no where to be found!! how annoying!!

3) Its still freaking hot here!! im actually melting!

4) my skin is peeling from the sun burn that I got 2 weeks ago...and its peeling in circles...ewww...i dont even dare to look at my right arm now...

5 things before 25

I asked Qian this last night, and I think everyone shoule think about it and actually aim to actually do these.

List 5 things you want to achieve before you turn 25.

mine are:
1) I want to be able to actually surf
2) I want to be able to snowboard
3) I want to get all the way to red belt without ever losing a fight
4) I want to travel to at least one european country
5) I want to already have a proper job and have a good enough pay to be indepedent

So these are my 5. Whats yours?

Happy CNY! Hope you have a better new year then I do. I miss the CNY atmosphere at home sooo much. I even miss the annoying music!! I miss the fooodddd...I want CNY goodies!! I want my red packets!! Stupid summer school...grumble grumble grumble...I went to safeway today, they have like one pathetic shelf and a small tiny sign saying: happy chinese new year..how sad. My reunion dinner consisted of me cooking some veg, ribs and some canned sharks fin. I want to be home for CNY...whine whine whine...and the only reason I'm writing a post is cause I'm writing my essay on blogs and I decided to check out whats the process of posting again..i lead a sad life....

back in melbourne again...

came back yesterday to find my house in a HUGE mess...like it was super dusty and there were boxes and stuff all over the place. it was so bad that I cleaned up the place...can u imagine how bad it was..i actually vaccummed the whole house and i scrubbed the toilet and i washed the rugs and my huge pillow cases..i was totally exhausted by like 11...add to the fact that i was sitting next to a very cute but not a very still sleeping korean kid in the plane...her head was resting on her mum's lap but her legs were all over the place...she was kicking me the whole night and there was even a few times that i found her foot in front of my face! and they didnt smell very good.so i didnt get any slp at all on the plane.

started my first day in school again....argh the pain of getting up early to go to school. there were like nearly 50 people in the class and i was like 5 mins late so i had to get a seat like far away from the lecturer...it was so difficult to see what he was doing. we did stuff on html and i have to do a critique on the web, it has to be based on either blogs, radical politics , social relations or information dispersal. cant decide which to do yet. however, i did get a 8/10 for my web concept. pretty proud of that espeically since my lecturer actually remembered my concept out of the whole bunch. he also showed us some other sites which previous students have done. there was one that was quite funny. it was on all the toilets in melb cbd area, they even had a map, pictures and star ratings. the starting of the site says: drank too much? looking for a place to pee but dont know where to go? haha

oh and i have no internet at home now so i wouldnt be online very often.

Secondly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! All the best for 2006! If your 2005 was bad, hope 2006 it will be better, if ur 2005 was good, hope ur 2006 will be great!

Fourthly, Im sooo going to die...i think i was trying to be too smart by taking an internet applications course...of all things to take since im so terrible with the com. so wish me luck!
